Data Strategy & Governance
The Data Strategy & Governance team is able to assist with all general data enquiries.
This team is responsible for the development of practices and processes concerning the formal governance and management of UQ’s data assets and maturing UQ’s information management capabilities.
Integration Services
Integration Services is responsible for providing an integration capability to support data synchronisation and interoperability between applications. The team is responsible for the Data Hub (DH) and Central Integration Platform (CIP), providing bespoke and reusable data integration mechanisms and patterns.
Research Data Services
The Research Data Management specialists within the Library, as well as the liaison librarians, provide information and advice on how to plan, collect and organise data generated during the course of a research project.
Planning & Business Intelligence
Planning & Business Intelligence (PBI) provides management information and analysis to support evidence-based decision making. PBI is structured into two sections:
- Planning & Performance Analysis: supports the formulation of the University’s strategic and operational agendas, monitoring and reporting on performance, undertaking strategic information analysis including environmental scans and supporting quality assurance initiatives.
- Business Intelligence: supports UQ’s business intelligence and analytical needs by providing data and reports via the UQ Data Warehouse and UQ Reportal.
Records Governance
Records Governance, within Governance and Risk, is responsible for the strategic management of The University’s recordkeeping systems, records of enduring value, developing policies and providing advice.
