Are you data-ready for 2023?

27 September 2022

Data governance is a continually evolving field, with emerging challenges and discoveries to explore. Data Strategy and Governance offers two Zoom-based training courses to help you navigate these changes. Both courses are available in November.

  • Data Ethics: What does it mean for you? In this course, you will learn about the importance of considering ethical implications when working with data, using hypothetical scenarios to practice assessing potential issues and mitigating strategies.
  • Data Governance Essentials In this course, you will learn the basics of good data governance, how to handle data more efficiently and effectively, and promote transparency and security. It will also provide an overview of data governance and data management practices at UQ.

If you’re unavailable for the 2022 offerings and are interested in enrolling in a course  in early 2023, email datagovernance@uq.edu.au - we will contact you when dates are available.

Bespoke offerings of both courses can be arranged for your team or organisational unit. If you are interested in scheduling one (or both!) courses for your team, email datagovernance@uq.edu.au.

You can access additional resources on the Data at UQ website.
